Equipment Overview


A "vehicle” or piece of “equipment" represents any asset or unit (moving or otherwise) you want to manage in InfoHub™. Examples include:

  • Push Mowers

  • Riding Lawn Mowers

  • Trimmers

  • Vehicles

  • Chipper

  • Skid Steer

  • Snow Removal Equipment

Using telematics tracking technology and your InfoHub account You can track a various types of equipment information*. Including:

  • Basic details such as year, make and model, VIN, etc.

  • Equipment details , such as acquired date and mower deck size.

  • Engine and fuel details such as engine hours, manufacture, battery level and voltage.

  • Assign an Operator to a specific piece of equipment.

  • Custom defined data.

  • Purchase information such as price, date, warranty info and more.

  • Last known location on the map through tracking

  • Maintenance schedules and records.

  • Upload photos and documents related to the equipment.

Device generated alerts that tell you when the engine needs attention, an operator may be misusing the equipment, if the equipment enters or leaves a marked Geofence and more.

Equipment Naming Conventions

To make the most of your InfoHub experience, it's a good idea to create continuity in how you name your equipment.

If you don't already have internal numbers and references to go by, take a few minutes to think about how to best organize all of the information before inputting data. Here are some suggestions you can use to give your equipment appropriate names that are easy to identify later.

  • Supervisor Name

  • VIN or Serial Number

  • Make

  • Model

  • Type of equipment (e.g. "M" for Mower, "T" for Trimmer, etc.)
